CHILDREN (AGE 0-11)

The goal of CCK’s Children’s Ministry (CM) is to supplement and reinforce the efforts of parents in teaching their children, while enabling the parents to participate in the worship of the Savior and engage in the preaching of the Word of God.

YOUTH (AGE 12-18)

At Relay, we want to come alongside parents to help transfer the gospel to our youth. Relay is for anyone grades 6 thru 12 where our goal is that we would not assume or confuse the gospel, but make it explicit and clear. At our meetings, we have worship, games, a 30-minute message, and then some discussion time to think thru how the message applies to our life. We then have snacks and games for an hour or two afterwards.

STARTING POINT COMMUNITY GROUPS

This group meets twice a month on Sunday evenings to be a place to connect with people in the church and get a taste for how our community looks and functions. This small group meeting will include things like talking about Sunday’s sermon, sharing about life, and praying for one another. Visitors will get to know members of the church and be able to ask any questions they might have.

COLLEGE

Volunteers for Christ is an outreach ministry to the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Our primary purpose is to glorify God through the proclamation and demonstration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ on campus. We desire that students not only come to know Christ, but also begin to practically apply their faith in the context of the local church.

SINGLES & YOUNG COUPLES

POST is a gathering place for the post-college adults of our church to experience biblical fellowship and deep discipleship in this important season of life. We meet once a month for lunch, a time of brief teaching and discussion. We also have several informal and formal social events throughout the year.

CONNECT GROUP (AGE 55 and up)

Connect is for anyone age 55 and above. We have quarterly lunches Sundays after church as well as bi-monthly activities. These include ladies’ oil painting, pickleball game nights, bonfires, and breakfast in the mountains. Our goal is to ‘Connect’ with people in the same season of life who find themselves sandwiched between caring for aging parents and children and even grandchildren. We seek to encourage each other through God’s Word in how to effectively live out our faith.
